In the words of the PMI organization, "...you must differentiate yourself to succeed." The local Sioux Empire chapter's goal is to provide our members with the resources to do that.

The mission of the PMI Sioux Empire SD chapter is to promote professionalism in Project Management methodologies, enhance knowledge and skills, and add value to its membership, business, and community.

By improving ourselves as individual project managers, we hope to not only develop personally, but to help our businesses succeed by improving the success rates for our projects.

Our current membership represents many local companies. Some of the areas represented are: Banking and Finance, Insurance, Education, Government, Manufacturing and Technology. As of Febuary 2009 we have 160 members in our local chapter.
